Big weekend

This upcoming Saturday Rylan gets baptised at St. Michaels Church. Looks like most of our family will be attending. After the baptism we are having everyone over to grill out and celebrate not only the baptism but Casey's 30th birthday!!! WOW. Then on Sunday Casey leaves for two weeks to Georgia for an instructor academy. He will learn how to be an instructor for firearms for the South Dakota ICE Agents. Pretty cool! He has been practicing his shooting every night at a shooting range. Good luck Casey!

Rylan is trying to sit up so much. He is determined to do it, so we are practicing everyday. He can sit on his own but only for a few seconds until he topples over. He is one strong little boy.

Happy St. Patricks Day! I use to love this day in my younger years. What a great holiday. Maybe Casey and I will drink a green beer tonight after we put Rylan to bed.

4 month check up

Rylan went to the doctor today for his 4 month check up. He has doubled his birth weight. He now weighs 16 lbs. 5 oz. and is 25.5 inches long. His weight puts him at 75% and his length is 55% and his head size is still at 40%. Rylan received two shots and took them like a champ, he cried for about 10 seconds and then passed out for an hour. He is now playing as if nothing ever happened. We head back to the doctor in two months.

This past weekend we went to a wedding and took Rylan with. He did pretty good as I was worried he was going to scream during the ceremony. Here is a picture of Rylan and his daddy.

4 months old

Rylan is 4 months old now and I can't believe it. Where did my little baby go? I do have to admit that life is a whole lot easier then the first 3 months. Rylan has become so much fun. He is constantly smiling, laughing, talking and giggling. He definitely likes attention and wants you to be talking to him alot. I have never talked so much baby talk in my life! Rylan is probably the first person who has ever enjoyed my singing. I'm loving this staying home thing more then I have ever imagined, I sure wish it could last forever. We head to the doctor next week for his second round of shots, poor guy! I'll let you know how that goes, I swear he has to be at least 15 lbs now.
