Rolling baby

Rylan has officially rolled from his back to his front. He has yet to roll from his tummy to his back but probably because he throws such a fit when we do tummy time. He has figured out that his hands work and enjoys to suck on them, maybe he will be a thumb sucker as he still will not take a pacifier. Rylan has also found his feet and loves to grab and hold on to them. We have started to have him sleep in his crib and amazingly its going pretty well, much better then I expected.

Casey and I received our first day off as parents last weekend. His parents come for a day and took care of Rylan all day on Saturday and even through the night. Casey and I went to lunch and then to two movies (Mall Cop and Taken). We had a nice dinner and then went out with some friends -- and actually stayed out till 2am:) It's been over a year since we have done that. It was a wonderful break and we enjoyed the time together. Thanks Jim and Donna!

One year ago

One year ago today we found out we were pregnant. We were living in Tucson at that time. I decided to take a pregnancy exam without telling Casey, I didn't want him to think I was crazy as it was the first month we were trying. I went into the bathroom and took the exam and what a surprise to have it come back positive. I then showed Casey and he was pretty excited! The next day I took another 2 exams and they as well came back positive. So amazing to think it was just one year ago today we found out we were pregnant and now we have almost a 4 month old on our hands.

Rylan is doing great. He has found his hands and sure loves to suck on them. He is also into toys but hates tummy time still and has yet to roll over. He is sleeping well and officially slept thru the night for the first time last week. Oh I sure did appreciate that!

Getting so big...

I just had to post this picture of Rylan in his diaper. He is getting so big its unbelievable. It amazes me everyday how fast he has grown, sure does not feel like 14 weeks ago I delivered him. We have a feeling he is going to be a tall kid. He is fitting perfectly into his 3-6 months clothes and even fits into some 6-9 month clothes. Everything is going great! Casey is really happy at his job and we are enjoying South Dakota and especially being able to see family and friends all the time. Hope all is well, love the Codys.
