Alex's 2 month appointment

We had Alex's two month appointment yesterday. My dad and I took her as Casey is out of the country - South America (for work and will be back tomorrow)! Alex weighs 14 lbs 2 oz. and is 24 inches long. She is close to 95% for all her stats including her head size. She has continued to stay at this percentage since birth. The nurse said she is going to be tall. How ironic that would be since i'm extremely short. I sure hope the nurse is right!Alex also received 3 shots in her leg and an oral shot. She did pretty well and is back to normal today. I do not have pictures to share as our camera took a dump.

Alex - 6 weeks

Alex is 6 weeks old already, where has time gone? I go back to work next week however it will be alot easier knowing she is in good hands with my dad and hopefully we can keep her from getting sick this winter. I'm not ready to leave her and go back to work, there is a reason moms are usually given 12 weeks. Alex is so amazing, I adore her!!! We have taken alot of naps together and watched many movies. I have enjoyed every minute i've been able to spend with her. Our family has been very blessed.

Happy New Year

We had a few friends over for New Years Eve. Here is Rylan and Reid. These two are going to have alot of fun together as they get older. I think they will be good buddies just like their dads.

We decorated Christmas cookies on Christmas Eve, however Rylan just ate the frosting instead of decorating:)

Brotherly Love

Rylan is adjusting well to having a baby sister. He loves to help out by getting diapers, finding her pacifier (even though she won't take one), giving her blankets and toys, holding her and of course kisses and kisses. Just yesterday he started asking if he could feed her and would then lift up his shirt...Too funny! We have some jealously but it's not too bad. Rylan is doing a great job at being a big brother!
