Officially 3 months old

Mya and Me

Mya Jo is Casey's younger brother Chad and his wife Nathel's daughter. She was only due 11 days before me but ended up delivering four weeks earlier (October 3rd) by going early and Rylan coming a week late. Rylan has a lot to learn from his older cousin Mya as she is way more content and laid back compared to him. Mya only lives just an hour away so her and Rylan will be growing up together. It will be fun to see their relationship grow:)

Great Grandpa

Rylan is very lucky to be able to know three of his great grandparents. In this picture is my mom's father, Rylan's only great grandpa that is still with us. This is the only great grandson that he has as well. If Rylan gets just one of this mans' amazing qualities he will be very blessed. Love you grandpa!

Almost 3 months old...

Where has time gone? We cannot believe Rylan is almost 3 months old. Time really does fly by and they really do grow up fast. He is getting so big and every morning we swear he grows even more. We had our first visit with our pediatrician here in town and everything went great. Rylan weighed 12 lbs. and 1 oz putting him right at 50% for his age. He was 23.75 inches long which is 80% and his head is just below 50%. Rylan received a few shots that he took like a champ! Thankfully Casey was there to hold him as I was to scared to watch. Poor little guy! We head back when he is 4 months old.
