Rylan - 17 months

I have been horrible about updating this blog!!! Here is Rylan at 17 months, he is becoming a little boy. We have had our fair share of sicknesses this last month. The latest has been strep, first Casey had it and now Rylan has it. When we took Ry to the doctor he weighed over 27 lbs., he sure is getting big. I swear he has grown 3 inches since Christmas. We have his 18 month check up at the end of the month so I will update his stats then. Here are a few pictures of our little handful.

London

Casey went on another work trip, this time to London. He has been to Paris, Poland and now London in the last year. He has a pretty cool job that is going to show him the world. Of the 3 places he has been overseas, London was his favorite place. He only had around 30 hours to see the city but he sure did see alot and had a great experience. Here are a few pictures...

Thankfully he came back with pictures from this trip. When he went to Poland he came back with pictures of his hotel room. Funny guy he thinks he is!

I gave Rylan yogurt this past week and he loved it! It's absolutely hilarious to watch him eat this! What a funny kid:)

No Tucson

Well we didn't make it to Tucson... We fly standby and unfortunately all the flights were oversold (thanks to Delta and Northwest combining). Usually flying is never a problem but now it seems to be an issue. We flew to Minneapolis and spent two nights and then flew home. Even though we were not able to get to Tucson we still had a fun time getting away. Ry did great traveling and even slept well outside of his crib...We went to the Mall of America and took Rylan to an underground acquarium, legoland and Rainforest Cafe. When we were in the airport we let Ry play on the moving sidewalks. He would walk/run the opposite way on them and get no where - it sure gave people some good laughs!!!

Tucson...Here we come!!!

On Thursday we are taking off for some warm weather in sunny Tucson, Arizona...our old home! We have not been there for almost 2 years and we are so excited to see some of our good friends and have them meet Rylan!!! We will be gone from Thursday till Monday. It will be interesting flying with Ry for the first time and to see how he does! Ry does very good in new situations so I think he will do great but i'm not sure how well he will do having to sit still on our laps in the airplane:) We are really excited to play outside and take him to parks everyday and enjoy the weather! Plus I do have to mention, we are really looking forward to eating at some of our favorite restaurants and having some real mexican food ~ yummy!

Mya & Rylan

Mya and Rylan are sure cute together! They talk to each other, give each other love and copy each other. It's too cute and so fun to see these two grow up together. The picture of them looking out the window was pretty hilarious. Mya kept getting closer and closer to Rylan pushing him out of the way, he finally had enough and pushed her down. It was great to have these two together and hopefully we will see them more often now that their lives are finally settling down.... CONGRATS CHAD!!!! (Chad graduated from paramedic school and has accepted a job with the Mitchell Fire Department)
