Almost 6 months old!!!!

I can't believe Rylan is 2 days away from being 6 months old. It's amazing how fast time goes. He is definitely in my favorite stage right now. He can sit perfectly on his own, play with toys and is not mobile YET!!! He is a very happy boy and it's so nice to get smile after smile after smile.

5 months and some...

Rylan is 5 months old now and really starting to show his personality. He still has not had any teeth pop thru which is great, I would like to wait as long as possible for that. His sleeping is great, sometimes sleeping thru the night. Most the time if he wakes too early I take him out of his crib and pull him in bed with me. There really is nothing like cuddling to sleep with him, it's probably my favorite part of my day! I totally understand why people allow their kids to sleep with them, so comforting to have them close. Rylan still has hazel eyes which I hope he keeps! They are pretty awesome, they have blue, green and brown in them. Casey is back and very happy to be home. He sure missed his little boy!!!

It's baseball season and we couldn't be more excited. GO Twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is a picture of Rylan during the first game of the year. We can't wait to take him to the Metrodome.

Snow dogs!!!

Casey was able to get back from his academy just in time for our huge snow storm. Actually he was lucky to get back as his flight was cancelled earlier in the day. Casey did awesome at his firearms instructor academy, he received 5th place out of 22 people!!!! YEAH.

We are not sure how our dogs ever survived in Arizona as they LOVE the snow. Here are some pictures of the awesome snow we received, its the snow that's perfect for a snowball fight or making a snowman... It sure was a beautiful storm.

Big weekend

This upcoming Saturday Rylan gets baptised at St. Michaels Church. Looks like most of our family will be attending. After the baptism we are having everyone over to grill out and celebrate not only the baptism but Casey's 30th birthday!!! WOW. Then on Sunday Casey leaves for two weeks to Georgia for an instructor academy. He will learn how to be an instructor for firearms for the South Dakota ICE Agents. Pretty cool! He has been practicing his shooting every night at a shooting range. Good luck Casey!

Rylan is trying to sit up so much. He is determined to do it, so we are practicing everyday. He can sit on his own but only for a few seconds until he topples over. He is one strong little boy.

Happy St. Patricks Day! I use to love this day in my younger years. What a great holiday. Maybe Casey and I will drink a green beer tonight after we put Rylan to bed.
