Teething

Alex's first two teeth were her bottom two front teeth - around 7 months of age. At nine months she now has the top four as well. So six teeth total for now!

Rylan - 2 1/2 yr old Pictures

We took both kids to Harolds for a free session in black and white. I was expecting Alex to do well and Rylan to not do so well as that's usually how it goes in this family. Well it was the exact opposite!!! Rylan was awesome - we have never had this many good pictures of him. Alex was there but we did not get a single picture of her. Right now she has some separation issues with me and when I put her down she freaks out. I do have to say she was teething and getting over another ear infection. Aren't these pictures of Rylan great?

Averi played in a soccer tournament here in Sioux Falls so we went to almost every game to watch her play. Rylan loved watching her play, he talks about when he is going to play soccer (oh I would love that)!!!!

Alex is crawling...

Alex is crawling... She started crawling on June 26th, 2011 at 7 months and 4 days. We were in Omaha at our hotel. Alex and I went into the hallway while the boys took a quick nap. That is when she first did it ... hallway of a Hilton:) She had been close for awhile but it was the first time she really moved some distance. We are so proud of her...

I looked back to see when Rylan started crawling.. He as well started crawling on June 26th (exact same day - how ironic) - he was 7 months 3 weeks and 2 days. GO ALEX!!! I wonder if she will walk before him too... She is already standing up and moving along furniture.

When we went on the Airbase Tour we also were able to go look at their Fire Trucks. This experience was also really cool and Rylan loved it!!! He loves his fire trucks... I finally posted the pictures.
