Alex's 2 week appointment

Alex gained an entire pound since birth at her two week appointment. She weighed 10 lbs and 1 oz and grew an inch to 22 inches. She is one long girl - my future basketball player:) Alex is a great baby and i would absolutely say going from 1 to 2 children has been no big deal (so far). She is the sweetest little girl and I could not be more happier with having a daughter. Alex is a true blessing!

Big Boy Bed

Rylan learned how to climb out of his crib when Alex was 1 week old. Nice timing!!! I was so worried about how his sleeping would change and having him be able to roam the house at any time. Well I worried for no reason. The first night he came into our room twice and Casey took him right back to bed. Since then he has never left his bed and actually stays in bed until we go and get him. He still goes to bed between 8-8:30pm and now sleeps in until almost 8am. It's great. So the big boy bed has only been a positive experience for us!

Nanny

Well I'm so happy to say that Alex will not be going to daycare for at least 2 to 3 months. I have asked my dad to move here to take care of her during the winter. I have one more week off thanks to my boss who called me yesterday to give me another week. After that my father will be caring for her in our house. Doesn't he look like a natural? This is the best gift he has ever given to me. I could not be more happy to keep her home till she gets bigger. THANKS DAD!!!
